Sony announces its first in-house designed wireless speakers, the Pulse Elevate, set for release in November 2026, targeting PS5 and PC gamers with low-latency, lossless audio and versatile setup options.
Sony Interactive Entertainment has put a date and price on its Pulse Elevate wireless speakers, confirming that the new desktop audio accessory will go on sale on 12 November 2026. The company says the speakers will cost $219.99 in the US, €219.99 in Europe, £199.99 in the UK and ¥37,980 in Japan, including tax.
The Pulse Elevate is Sony’s first wireless speaker system designed in-house for gaming desks. It is compatible with PS5, PC, Mac and the PlayStation Portal remote player, and Sony says it is intended to work both at a fixed setup and on the move with portable devices. According to the company’s original announcement, the speakers use planar magnetic drivers and PlayStation Link wireless technology to deliver low-latency, lossless audio.
Sony will offer the speakers in Midnight Black and White. The black version will be sold globally through PlayStation Direct and selected retailers, while the white model will be limited to a smaller list of markets, including the UK, the US and several countries in western Europe. Pre-orders open on 1 September at 10 a.m. local time, with US orders following Eastern time.
The product details published on PlayStation’s sites also say the speakers include built-in woofers for deeper bass and a microphone system designed for voice chat on desktop setups. Tom’s Hardware reported that Sony is positioning the accessory for PC gamers as well as PS5 owners, while the company itself has described the launch as part of a broader push to extend PlayStation audio hardware beyond headsets.
