Soundcore’s Liberty 5 Pro earbuds are on a major discount during Amazon’s October sale, offering a compelling combination of price, sound quality, and advanced features that rival premium models like Apple’s AirPods 5.
Amazon’s October sale has cut the price of Soundcore’s Liberty 5 Pro earbuds to $135.99, down from $169.99 and below their previous low of $149.99. That makes them a sharper buy than Apple’s AirPods 5 on price alone, while still leaving room for a long list of features that are usually reserved for more expensive wireless earbuds.
What sets the Liberty 5 Pro apart is not just the discount, but the balance of hardware and software on offer. The earbuds are built around active noise cancellation, with Soundcore also putting heavy emphasis on call clarity. Reviewers and the company alike point to the same standout strength: voice pickup is unusually clean for the category, even in louder surroundings. RTINGS noted that the set also pairs a secure, comfortable fit with broad sound customisation through the companion app, while the charging case includes a touchscreen for battery checks, EQ switching, ANC control and pairing without needing to open the phone app.
There is more here than the usual sales-list specification. The Liberty 5 Pro carry an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance, support LDAC for higher-resolution audio on compatible devices, and include built-in voice commands. Soundcore also says the earbuds use a sensor array and its own AI chip to improve call performance in noisy environments. Android Central further reported that the range now extends to Bluetooth 6.1, multipoint connectivity for several devices and offline voice tools, although some of the more advanced functions are platform-dependent.
Sound quality is not entirely flat by default, and that is worth noting for buyers who prefer a neutral tuning. The Verge said the stock profile leans towards stronger bass, but this can be corrected quickly using Soundcore’s sound examples and app controls. Tom’s Guide and Cult of Mac were more mixed on certain aspects, including treble balance and battery claims, but both pointed to solid comfort and strong noise cancellation. On balance, the Liberty 5 Pro look like an unusually feature-rich option at this price, particularly for anyone who values call quality, customisation and a well-equipped case as much as the earbuds themselves.
