Ugreen introduces the P5 portable charger in China, featuring updated safety compliance, a built-in USB-C cable, and the ability to charge multiple devices efficiently, marking a milestone in portable power solutions.
Ugreen has released the P5 power bank in China, positioning it as one of the company’s earliest portable chargers to align with the country’s updated 2026 national safety standard. According to IXBT News and launch reports cited by Gizmochina, the device carries an official certification mark and a QR code on the casing that can be used to verify manufacturing and compliance details.
The P5 uses a 10,000mAh battery and includes a built-in USB-C cable measuring 18.5cm, alongside USB-C and USB-A ports. Ugreen is asking 119 yuan, or about $18, for the model. A digital display on the front shows charging information, while the compact housing and integrated cable are intended to reduce the need to carry separate accessories.
Under the bonnet, the battery pack uses EVE Energy polymer lithium-ion cells and a battery management system that monitors temperature, voltage and charge cycles. Ugreen says the device has been tested against nail puncture, heavy compression of about two tonnes and prolonged exposure to 140C heat. IXBT News also reports that a dual NTC thermal system performs continuous checks to help control temperature during operation.
The company claims a maximum output of 22.5W and an input rate of 20W. In its laboratory testing, Ugreen says the P5 can charge an iPhone 17 to about 58% in 30 minutes, while a full recharge of the power bank itself takes roughly 3.1 hours. The unit weighs 203.4g, which Ugreen says is around a quarter lighter than the previous model, and it can charge up to three devices at once.
