UGREEN debuts the MagFlow Pro at IFA 2026, a magnetic power bank featuring active micro-pump liquid cooling to manage the heat generated by high-speed Qi2 wireless charging.
UGREEN has turned an unusual idea into a practical product: a magnetic power bank that actively cools itself while charging. According to the company’s announcement around IFA 2026, the MagFlow Pro is the first Qi2 25W magnetic power bank to use active micro-pump liquid cooling, a response to the heat that rises sharply as wireless charging speeds increase.
The technical logic is straightforward. Faster Qi2 charging pushes more power through the wireless coil, which creates more heat and can trigger thermal throttling in the phone. UGREEN says its CryoPulse system combines a micro-pump, coolant channels and a copper heat-spreading structure to keep temperatures lower than conventional chargers, with claims of a reduction of up to 18°F, or about 10°C, below an industry reference during testing.
Despite the cooling hardware, the MagFlow Pro remains a standard portable battery at heart. It carries 10,000mAh of capacity, supports up to 25W Qi2.2 wireless output and offers 45W wired charging through both an integrated USB-C cable and a USB-C port. UGREEN says it can power three devices at once, while an on-device display shows charging output, battery level, cycle count, temperature and cooling status. The built-in cable also doubles as a carry strap and is rated for more than 10,000 bends.
UGREEN’s pitch is likely to resonate most in hotter climates, where ambient temperatures already work against fast charging. Lower operating temperatures may help a phone hold higher charging speeds for longer and reduce thermal stress, even if they do not remove battery wear entirely. The MagFlow Pro is priced at €119.99 in Europe and US$129.99 in the United States, with some reports placing the US price at $149, and Malaysian pricing has not yet been announced. However it is sold, the device suggests that heat management is becoming as important as capacity and wattage in the next generation of charging accessories.
