Ugreen’s Nexode Air 65W charger sees significant discount in Japan, highlighting its portability and compatibility

Ugreen’s compact Nexode Air 65W USB-C charger is being discounted in Japan, offering a portable, high-power solution for a wide range of devices amid a surge in short-term promotions.

Amazon is discounting Ugreen’s Nexode Air 65W USB-C charger in Japan, with AppBank saying the price has fallen to 3,209 yen from a reference price of 4,280 yen, a reduction of 1,071 yen, or 25%. The sale is listed as running until 26 August at 23:59, although shoppers are being told to check Amazon for the latest price and stock before buying.

The appeal of the charger is its size. AppBank says Ugreen has squeezed 65W output into a body measuring about 33 × 31 × 40.4 mm and weighing roughly 75g, helped by GaN, or gallium nitride, power technology. The plug folds flat, which makes the charger easier to carry in a bag or pocket and reduces the risk of scratches alongside other items.

It is also built for broad compatibility. According to AppBank, the charger supports USB-C PD 3.0, PPS and QC fast-charging standards, and can be used with iPhones, iPads, MacBook Air models, Android phones, tablets, USB-C laptops and devices such as the Nintendo Switch. A 100W USB-C cable is included in the box, so the charger is ready for higher-power use without extra accessories.

Overseas coverage has echoed that positioning. Macworld and iLounge both described the Nexode Air 65W as a compact travel charger capable of charging a MacBook Air, while 9to5Toys highlighted the included USB-C cable and foldable prongs. Digital Camera Watch, meanwhile, reported that the same model was selling in Japan for 3,049 yen at one point, underscoring how frequently this product appears in short-term promotions.
