Vivo launches the Vivo Buds in India, offering a feature-rich, budget-friendly true wireless option with impressive battery life, sound customisation, and low-latency gaming support, challenging established market segments.
Vivo has launched the Vivo Buds in India, entering the budget true wireless segment with a clear emphasis on long battery life, sound customisation and low-latency use for gaming. According to reporting by Moneycontrol and FoneArena, the earbuds are aimed at users who want a low-cost model without giving up features that are usually reserved for more expensive pairs.
The earbuds use 10mm dynamic drivers with PU and PEEK diaphragms, and Vivo says its DeepX 4.0 tuning includes Mega Bass, Clear Voice, Clear High Pitch and Audiobook modes. The company also offers a 10-band equaliser for manual adjustments, while spatial audio is supported on Vivo and iQOO phones through Theatre, Concert Hall, Studio and Live Concert modes, according to the Indian launch coverage.
For calls, the Vivo Buds rely on four microphones and AI-based noise cancellation. Other specifications include Bluetooth 6.1, dual-device pairing, a claimed gaming latency of 42 milliseconds, a weight of 3.8g per earbud and IP54 protection against dust and water. Times of India also reported that the earbuds are positioned as a lightweight, everyday option with a focus on connection stability and ecosystem integration.
Battery life is the headline specification. Vivo says each 53mAh earbud can last up to 12 hours on its own, while the 525mAh charging case lifts total playback time to 50 hours. The earbuds are priced at ₹1,999, or about $20, and are available in black and green colour options through Vivo India’s e-store, Flipkart and authorised retail partners, according to Moneycontrol and other launch reports.
