Xiaomi has introduced the Power Bank 5i 20000 67W in India, positioning it as a higher-capacity portable charger for users who need faster charging on the move. Priced at ₹3,299, the device combines a 20,000mAh battery, 67W Turbo Fast Charging, 65W self-charging and a built-in USB-C cable that also works as a carry loop. Xiaomi says its energy rating stays below 100Wh, which makes it suitable for air travel subject to airline rules.
The design is aimed at practicality rather than minimal bulk. Xiaomi’s official product information highlights a compact, travel-friendly form factor, a matte finish and a digital battery display that gives a percentage reading instead of the usual row of LEDs. The integrated USB-C cable is the most useful addition, as it removes the need to carry a separate lead while also doubling as a strap for easier handling.
On paper, the specification list is unusually strong for a power bank in this price range. Xiaomi says the Power Bank 5i supports PD 3.0 with PPS, multiple charging protocols and three outputs: the built-in USB-C cable, a USB-C port and a USB-A port. That means it can charge phones, tablets, earbuds and some USB-C laptops, while also supporting low-current charging for accessories such as smartwatches and wireless earphones. The company also says the unit includes 12-layer protection and dual NTC temperature monitoring for safety.
MobiGyaan’s review found the hardware largely lives up to the headline figures. It noted that the power bank can recharge a compatible phone more than twice, can handle multiple devices at once and can replenish itself relatively quickly through its 65W input. The review also praised the clear display, the solid build and the thermal behaviour under load, while acknowledging that the 415g weight makes it more substantial than smaller-capacity alternatives. Overall, it stands out as a feature-rich option for frequent travellers and users carrying several USB-C devices.
