Xplus launches personalised accessories line for Galaxy Z Flip8 and Fold8, emphasising fashion and digital integration

Xplus has introduced a new collection of personalised accessories for Samsung’s latest foldable devices, featuring magnetic add-ons, character collaborations, and ecosystem-focused innovations designed to enhance daily usability and style.

Xplus has unveiled a new line of Galaxy Z Flip8 and Galaxy Z Fold8 accessories timed to Samsung’s latest foldable launch, betting that magnetic add-ons and character-led designs will help turn smartphones into more personalised devices. The South Korean lifestyle company said the range is built around a mirror magnet case and extends to a nacre magnet case, flip suit cards, a magnet card wallet, a magnet mirror stand and a magnet stand case for Galaxy Buds4 and Buds4 Pro.

At the centre of the collection is a mirror case that combines a reflective finish with Qi2-compatible magnetic support, a feature that points to Samsung’s growing emphasis on accessory ecosystems around its foldables. Samsung’s own launch materials for the Galaxy Z Flip8 highlight a lighter, thinner device with a redesigned FlexWindow, AI-driven shortcuts and glanceable information on the cover screen, a combination that appears designed to make modular accessories more useful in daily use.

Xplus is also leaning heavily on intellectual property partnerships. Its nacre magnet case, developed with Walt Disney Korea, blends Mickey Mouse imagery with the lustre of traditional Korean mother-of-pearl craft, giving the product a distinctly local aesthetic. The company has also added Chun Sik from Kakao Friends, along with Pingu and Anpanman, to Samsung mobile accessories for the first time. One of the standout items is a Flip Suit card for the Galaxy Z Flip8 that uses NFC so character content appears on the FlexWindow.

The broader strategy reflects a market in which phone protection is only part of the sales pitch. Accessories now double as fashion items, practical tools and digital experiences, with the card wallet holding up to two cards and the mirror stand serving both as a mirror and a support. Xplus said it plans to keep expanding with more IP collaborations, differentiated designs and convenience-focused features as it tries to strengthen its position in the mobile accessories business.
