Amazon’s Great Freedom Sale is offering unprecedented discounts on high-end OLED and QLED televisions from leading brands, combined with attractive payment offers, making it a rare opportunity for consumers to upgrade their home entertainment systems.
Amazon’s Great Freedom Sale is pushing hard on premium televisions, with discounts across OLED and QLED models from Samsung, Sony, LG, Xiaomi, TCL, Philips, Haier, Vu and Toshiba, according to Gadgets 360. The offers span 50-inch to 77-inch screens and include sets aimed at film viewers and gamers alike, with features such as high refresh rates, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos and AI-assisted picture processing. Additional coupon cuts make some of the effective sale prices lower still.
Among the OLED deals, Gadgets 360 highlights Sony’s 55-inch Bravia 8M2 Series at Rs. 2,46,990, down from Rs. 3,99,900, while Samsung’s 65-inch OLED 4K Smart TV is listed at Rs. 1,37,990 against a marked price of Rs. 1,89,900. The larger 77-inch Samsung OLED is also discounted, falling to Rs. 4,39,900 from Rs. 5,06,900. LG’s C5 AI Series 65-inch 4K OLED TV is priced at Rs. 1,73,990, which keeps it in the more competitive end of the premium market. Industry coverage from Tom’s Guide has recently underlined how sharply discounted OLED sets can become strong value buys when the reductions are large enough to outweigh modest year-on-year updates.
The QLED side of the sale is broader still. Xiaomi’s X 55-inch 4K Smart Google TV is down to Rs. 35,749 from Rs. 48,999, while TCL’s 55-inch QLED 4K Google TV is listed at Rs. 45,990 against an MRP of Rs. 1,09,990. Other options include Philips’ 50-inch 8100 Series, Haier’s 55-inch H6E Series, Vu’s 55-inch Vibe Series, Samsung’s 55-inch Neo QLED and Toshiba’s 65-inch QLED model. TechRadar and What Hi-Fi have both noted that major sales periods often produce the best mix of choice and price on larger TVs, especially when shoppers are willing to compare panel type, brightness, gaming support and operating system rather than focusing on size alone.
Amazon is also layering payment incentives on top of the sticker cuts. Eligible HDFC Bank cardholders can receive a 10 per cent instant discount of up to Rs. 10,500, Amazon Pay users can get Rs. 150 cashback when paying through Amazon Pay UPI and other eligible prepaid methods, and Amazon Pay ICICI Bank Credit Card users can receive 5 per cent unlimited cashback. For buyers already planning a premium TV purchase, the combination of direct markdowns, coupons and payment offers makes the sale notably more aggressive than a simple list-price reduction.
