In a promotional video, the company also highlighted a roster of well-known guests, including Alex Cooper, Shubman Gill, Ayami Nakajo and Stephen Curry, underscoring a continuing push to make its product launches feel closer to a mainstream entertainment show than a conventional technology briefing.
The approach is not new. Last year, Jimmy Fallon fronted Google’s showcase, giving the company’s hardware reveal the atmosphere of a late-night programme. This time, Google appears to be using celebrity power again to broaden the appeal of the event and draw more attention to its next wave of devices.
The biggest focus is expected to be the Pixel 11 family, including the Pixel 11 Pro Fold. Google has already teased the foldable in a short video, while separate leaks have offered a fuller look at the line-up’s design. Pricing could be another talking point. TechRadar says the base Pixel 11 may start at $899, with higher-storage options and possible RAM changes affecting the top-end models. Tom’s Guide has also reported that foldable pricing may rise by $100 to $200, reflecting wider industry pressure on memory supply. Other leaks point to new colour options and Google’s next Tensor G6 chip, while the Pixel Watch 5 is also expected to appear alongside the phones.
