Leaked renders and reports suggest Google’s upcoming Pixel 11 Pro will feature a smaller design, a brighter display, and a significant chip upgrade, signalling a revamped flagship iteration with new camera and software enhancements.
Google’s next premium phone appears to be taking shape quickly, with leaks and official teases pointing to a Pixel 11 Pro that leans on a smaller design, brighter display and a major chip upgrade. According to leaked CAD renders and reporting from technology sites, the handset is expected to measure about 152.7mm by 71.9mm by 8.4mm, keeping the compact feel of recent Pro models while becoming slightly slimmer. The phone is also said to use an aluminium frame, Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on both sides and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
Display rumours suggest a 6.3-inch LTPO OLED panel with a 2,856 x 1,280 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 3,600 nits. Android Authority has also reported that Google may replace the temperature sensor seen on earlier Pixels with a small RGB LED, while other leaks point to an improved ultrasonic fingerprint reader and face unlock. TechRadar said the series may add a new “HiLight” notification feature that illuminates when the phone is face down, giving users a visual alert for calls or messages.
Inside, the Pixel 11 Pro is widely tipped to use Google’s Tensor G6 chip, with several reports saying the processor will move to a 2nm manufacturing process aimed at better efficiency and lower heat. Leaks also indicate 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X memory, up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage and a battery in the 4,850mAh to 5,000mAh range. Google is also expected to push Qi2 magnetic wireless charging, reverse wireless charging and satellite SOS support, alongside Android 17 and seven years of software updates.
Camera changes are likely to remain central to the Pixel pitch. Leak reports point to a 50MP main camera, a 48MP ultra-wide lens and a 48MP periscope telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom, plus a 42MP front camera. Google has already teased the Pixel 11 Pro Fold in a short video, and multiple outlets, including Tom’s Guide and T3, say the full Pixel 11 line is expected on August 12, 2026, with pre-orders likely to open that day. Pricing is still unsettled, but reports suggest the Pro could begin near $999, while the foldable may rise from the current generation’s price because of memory supply pressures.
