Honor signals a rapid and diverse push into mid-range, endurance, foldable, and gaming smartphones, showcasing bold new form factors and specifications amid ongoing product experimentation.
Honor appears to be widening its smartphone line-up sharply, with leaks pointing to a camera-led mid-range phone, an extreme-battery model, a large foldable and new gaming handsets all moving through development. The most detailed information comes from a Weibo tipster widely associated with Honor leaks, and it suggests the company is testing how far it can stretch its portfolio without waiting for one flagship cycle to finish. The timing is notable: Honor’s Robot Phone was only unveiled days earlier, underlining how aggressively the brand is experimenting with new form factors and specialist devices.
The most accessible of the group is the Honor 700, which is said to centre on a rear-mounted display of about 1.7 inches. According to the leak, that screen is intended for camera previews, shooting controls and quick notifications, effectively turning the main rear camera into the default selfie camera without needing a foldable design. That approach echoes the detachable rear-screen accessory Honor introduced for the Honor 600 in May 2026, but here the function is built into the handset itself. The phone is expected to sit in Honor’s upper mid-range rather than its premium flagship tier, with a China launch window of November to December 2026.
A separate device, likely to be called the Honor Power 3, is the one linked to a 12,000mAh battery claim. The leak describes trial production of a pack rated at 11,790mAh, or 43.86Wh, which would place it far beyond the endurance figures common in mainstream smartphones. Reports from My Mobile India suggest the device could pair that battery with MediaTek’s Dimensity 8600 and a 6.8-inch 1.5K LTPS flat display. If accurate, it would represent a major step up from the current Power 2, which already uses an 8,000mAh battery. An early 2027 launch appears more plausible than an immediate release.
Honor is also said to be working on a wider foldable device that would compete in the book-style category. Gizmochina and Gadgets 360 reported earlier that the handset has entered final refinement, with a 7.6-inch inner display, a 5.5-inch cover screen, a 200-megapixel main camera, a periscope telephoto lens and a 7,000mAh battery. The latest leak adds Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6, suggesting Honor wants full flagship performance in its folding line rather than a downgraded chip choice. That would mark a more ambitious positioning for the company’s foldables, which have previously leaned on thinness and general refinement as much as imaging power.
The same leak also points to two Honor Win gaming phones expected in October 2026, although little else is known about them. If they materialise, they would give Honor its first dedicated gaming sub-brand, a segment where rivals typically rely on high refresh-rate panels, advanced cooling and extra shoulder controls. Taken together, the roadmap suggests a company willing to cover almost every major smartphone niche at once: camera-first mid-range, battery-first endurance, premium foldable and performance-focused gaming.
