iQOO raises smartphone prices in India amid rising component costs, with the flagship 15 seeing the sharpest hike

iQOO has announced significant price increases across several of its smartphones in India, led by the flagship iQOO 15, amidst supply chain pressures and rising memory costs. Smaller increases also extend to models like the iQOO 15R, Neo 10, and Redmi Turbo 5, signalling further inflation in the premium smartphone segment.

iQOO has increased prices across several smartphones in India, with the sharpest revision hitting the iQOO 15. The 12GB and 256GB model has moved from Rs 76,999 to Rs 85,999, while the 16GB and 512GB version now costs Rs 93,999, up from Rs 83,999. The iQOO 15R and iQOO Neo 10 have also become more expensive, though their increases are smaller.

The iQOO 15R now starts at Rs 53,999 for the 8GB and 256GB variant, compared with Rs 49,999 previously. Its 12GB and 256GB model has risen to Rs 59,999, and the 12GB and 512GB version now sells for Rs 66,999. In the Neo 10 range, the 8GB and 256GB version has gone up to Rs 43,999, while the 12GB and 256GB model now costs Rs 48,999.

Other outlets have reported a different, much smaller revision for the same phones, suggesting that prices may vary by channel, timing or configuration. According to 91mobiles, The Tech Outlook and Gizbot, the iQOO 15, 15R and Neo 10 were raised by about Rs 2,000 to Rs 3,000 per variant, which is far below the larger jumps listed in the latest price table. That divergence points to a possible staged reset rather than a single uniform change.

Redmi Turbo 5 has also become costlier. The 8GB and 256GB model now costs Rs 41,999, up from Rs 37,999, while the 12GB and 256GB variant has risen to Rs 46,999 from Rs 40,999. The stated reason is rising memory costs, as tighter DRAM and NAND supply pushes component prices higher. With manufacturers prioritising higher-margin AI server chips, smartphone buyers may continue to see further adjustments if that pressure does not ease.
