The upcoming iQOO Z11 smartphone for India emphasises display innovation and gaming performance, featuring MediaTek’s latest Dimensity 7500 Turbo chip and a 144Hz AMOLED screen, signalling a shift towards high-performance mid-range devices.
vivo’s iQOO brand is preparing a mid-range addition that leans heavily on display smoothness and performance, with the iQOO Z11 expected to arrive in India on 20 August. According to Gizmochina, the Indian variant is tipped to be the first phone to use MediaTek’s Dimensity 7500 Turbo, a 4nm chip that appears to be a customised platform for the model. The same report says the handset is set to ship with 12GB of RAM and Android 16.
The screen is expected to be one of the main selling points. Reports point to a 3D curved AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate, a specification aimed at users who want a more premium look and fluid scrolling. Gizmochina also says the phone will include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4 and 5G support with download speeds of up to 5.2Gbps. MediaTek’s HyperEngine gaming software is also expected to be part of the package, indicating a clear focus on mobile gaming and sustained performance.
Camera details have not yet been confirmed, but the chipset is said to support sensors of up to 200 megapixels. That leaves room for vivo to position the phone as a performance-led device rather than one defined primarily by imaging. The model is expected to come in Celestial Blue, Aurora Green and white, although pricing remains undisclosed.
The iQOO Z11 family is not a single global configuration. Separate reports from Gizmochina and Gadgets 360 say the China version uses MediaTek’s Dimensity 8500, alongside a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate, a dual rear camera setup and a 9,020mAh battery with 90W charging. FoneArena also reported that iQOO confirmed a March 26 launch for the Chinese market, with flat-sided design cues and up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. In practical terms, that suggests the Indian handset is being tuned as a distinct regional variant rather than a direct copy of the Chinese model.
