Oppo and Realme’s latest market shifts in Indonesia reveal aggressive pricing, promotions, and the rapid movement of flagship and entry-level devices amid a highly price-sensitive consumer landscape.
Indonesia’s smartphone market for Oppo and Realme remained highly price-sensitive in mid-August 2026, with promotional discounts and stock adjustments shaping what shoppers actually pay in stores and on marketplaces. Media Indonesia reported that, as of August 12, there were at least 33 variants available across the two brands, with prices ranging from about Rp1.8 million to nearly Rp27 million.
At the top of Oppo’s current line-up is the Find X9 Ultra, listed at Rp26,999,000 for the 16GB/1TB version, while the Find X9s sits much lower at Rp14,499,000. Oppo’s Reno16 Pro 5G is priced at Rp13,999,000, followed by the Reno16 5G at Rp11,159,070 and the Reno15 5G at Rp7,727,080. The more affordable end of the range includes the Reno16 F 5G at Rp7,175,080 and the A series, where the A6x starts at Rp2,299,080.
Media Indonesia said Oppo is running a promotion on the Reno16 series during July and August, which helps explain why some market prices sit below suggested retail levels. The outlet noted that the Reno16 5G, for example, is being sold below its normal reference price. It also said the A6x has slipped from Rp2,399,000 earlier in the month to Rp2,299,080, showing how quickly retailer pricing can move.
Realme is competing aggressively in the lower and middle price bands. Its most expensive model in the list, the Realme 16 Pro+, is priced at Rp8,279,080 for the 12GB/512GB version, while the Realme 16 5G is listed at Rp5,059,080. The company’s C, P and Note series fill out the lower end of the market, with the Realme Note 80 4GB/64GB emerging as the cheapest device in the data set at Rp1,839,080.
Earlier market snapshots suggest these prices remain broadly in line with the brands’ strategy over recent months. Reports from May and June showed Oppo and Realme keeping entry-level phones near the Rp1.8 million to Rp1.9 million mark, while also pushing more capable hardware into lower price tiers. One May report highlighted Realme’s use of 45W fast charging on a sub-Rp2 million model, a sign that feature competition is no longer limited to premium devices. In June, a separate price list showed Oppo’s Find X9 Ultra at Rp31,999,000 and Realme’s 16 Pro 5G at Rp6,999,000, underscoring how much promotional and market pricing can shift over a short period.
For buyers, the main takeaway is that listed prices are only a snapshot. Media Indonesia said the figures were recorded at 19:43 WIB on August 12 and could change at any time depending on stock, platform discounts and seller policy. In practical terms, the market now offers a wide choice: low-cost phones for basic use, mid-range models for most buyers and a small but expensive flagship tier for users who want top-end cameras and performance.
