Vivo V80 Lite targeted at long-lasting durability and endurance with the largest 10,000mAh battery in the Philippines

Vivo launches the V80 Lite in the Philippines, emphasising endurance with a massive 10,000mAh battery, water and dust resistance, and a high-brightness OLED display, catering to users who need a durable device for extended daily use.

vivo has launched the V80 Lite in the Philippines, positioning the handset around endurance and durability rather than raw headline-grabbing specifications. The company says the phone is built for users who want a device that can last through long workdays and still cope with evening use, with a 10,000mAh BlueVolt battery, IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance, and a high-brightness 1.5K OLED display among its key selling points. vivo says the battery is its largest globally, and the Philippine launch follows earlier regional availability in Malaysia, where the same model was presented with similar endurance-focused claims.

The Philippine pricing starts at Php24,999 for the 8GB/128GB model and Php27,999 for the 8GB/256GB version. Pre-orders run from October 4 to 16, 2026, and customers are being offered a bundle that includes vivo Buds Air3, a Php1,000 discount, a four-year battery warranty, and six months of 100GB Google One storage. vivo is also offering an additional Php500 reduction for Home Credit purchases at 0% interest until October 31 when buyers use the HCV80LITE voucher code.

The specifications point to a phone aimed at people who spend much of the day away from a charger. vivo says laboratory testing suggests the V80 Lite can deliver up to 30 hours of video streaming, 30 hours of TikTok playback, 68 hours of calls and 14 hours of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang gaming on a single charge. That kind of endurance is especially relevant for users who rely on their phones for work, commuting, entertainment and messaging across a full day.

Durability is another clear theme. The IP68 and IP69 ratings indicate protection against dust and water under the stated test conditions, which should appeal to buyers who move between indoor and outdoor environments or want a little more resilience from an everyday handset. vivo Philippines brand marketing director Liu Lu said the V80 Lite was designed for people whose day continues after work, including side hustles, exercise and social plans, and added that the aim is to reduce how often users need to think about battery life or exposure to the elements.
