iQOO reveals key specifications of its upcoming Neo11 Ultra and Z11s smartphones, highlighting large batteries, custom chipsets, and high-end features as the launch date approaches in China.
iQOO has moved closer to the August 18 launch of its next smartphones in China by disclosing the chipsets for the Neo11 Ultra and Z11s. The announcements follow earlier details on the two devices’ design and battery capacities, and show that iQOO is leaning heavily on large batteries and in-house tuning as it prepares the pair for release.
The Neo11 Ultra will use a custom Dimensity 9500M, built on a 3nm process and designed with an all-big-core CPU layout. iQOO says the chip was created specifically for this phone and is intended to pair performance with efficiency through its Monster Hyper-Core engine. The company has also confirmed that the handset will run OriginOS 6, carry IP68 and IP69 protection and use an AMOLED panel with F2 luminescent material, which iQOO claims can reach 2,000 nits of full-screen peak brightness.
Battery life is another major part of the pitch. The Neo11 Ultra will ship with a 9,100mAh battery, while the Z11s will go even larger with a 10,000mAh cell. The Z11s is set to use MediaTek’s Dimensity 7500 chipset. The broader Neo 11 series has also been the subject of leaks, with reports pointing to a 2K display, a metal mid-frame, ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint recognition and 100W charging for some models, suggesting iQOO is positioning the line as a high-end, endurance-focused alternative in a crowded Chinese smartphone market.
