Anker has evolved from a battery seller on Amazon into a broad consumer electronics group with a footprint across North America, Europe and other markets. According to the company’s own profile, it was founded in 2011 by Steven Yang and is now headquartered in Changsha, Hunan, with more than 30 offices worldwide. Its core reputation still rests on charging hardware, but that narrow image no longer reflects the scale of its business.
The company’s main line-up now extends well beyond power banks and wall plugs. On its US product pages, Anker lists portable chargers, wall adapters, wireless charging pads, cables, magnetic batteries and docking stations, alongside newer ranges such as Nano and Prime. T3 reported that Anker used CES 2026 to unveil a fresh wave of accessories, including a 45W smart charger, a foldable three-in-one wireless station, a 10-in-1 power strip and a docking station with triple-display support and 100W charging.
Anker has also pushed into adjacent consumer categories through separate brands. Its Soundcore label covers audio products such as portable speakers and sweat-resistant earphones, while Eufy focuses on connected home devices, including smart lights, plugs and robot vacuums. That diversification gives Anker a wider retail presence without diluting the charging business that made it best known.
The appeal is straightforward: specification, reliability and price. SlashGear noted that Anker often undercuts Apple on comparable chargers, while still offering high-wattage, multi-port models that attract strong review numbers on Amazon. TechRadar has also described Anker as a leading mobile charging brand, reflecting how its reputation has shifted from an Amazon upstart to a mainstream name in everyday power and connected-home products.
