Ugreen has brought its Nexode Pro 100W 4-Port GaN Charger with Smart Display to the US market, positioning it as a compact travel charger with more visibility than most rivals. The device carries a list price of $64.99, although Ugreen and Amazon are currently advertising it at $54.99. It combines three USB-C ports and one USB-A port in a small wall charger designed to replace bulkier laptop adapters. B&H Photo’s product listing confirms the four-port layout, the 100W ceiling and the broad compatibility with phones, tablets, laptops and gaming devices.
The main point of distinction is the integrated display. Ugreen says the screen can show total power draw, per-port output, charging protocol and internal temperature in real time, and it can be rotated for easier viewing depending on how the charger sits in the socket. That makes the charger more useful for anyone trying to work out whether a laptop, phone and accessories are sharing power as expected. The display adds a level of feedback that is uncommon in this class of accessory.
On raw output, the charger can deliver up to 100W from USB-C1 or USB-C2 when used on their own, while USB-C3 is rated at 65W and USB-A at 22.5W. Ugreen says a single 100W connection can take a 14-inch MacBook Pro with M4 Pro to about 54% in 30 minutes under its test conditions. As with similar compact GaN chargers, that headline figure applies to one device at a time; when several gadgets are plugged in, the charger divides its total power budget across them.
The hardware also includes a foldable US plug and built-in safeguards against overheating, overvoltage, overcurrent and short circuits. Other reviews of Ugreen’s Nexode Pro line describe the chargers as compact and efficient, with support for common fast-charging standards such as PD, PPS and QC, though some note that smaller GaN designs can run warm under sustained load. That makes the new model less remarkable for its power rating than for the way it surfaces what it is doing while it works.
