Amazon offers 30% discount on Anker's slim 621 Magnetic Battery for MagSafe iPhones

Amazon reduces the price of Anker’s 621 Magnetic Battery by 30%, making it an attractive portable charging option for MagSafe-compatible iPhone users seeking a slim, cable-free backup.

Amazon is discounting Anker’s 621 Magnetic Battery (MagGo), bringing the black model down to 4,190 yen from a reference price of 5,990 yen. AppBank says the offer is a 30% reduction and is due to run until 21 August at 23:59, although buyers should still check the product page for the latest price and stock before ordering.

The power bank is aimed at MagSafe-compatible iPhone users who want a compact backup charger without a cable in the way. According to Anker, the unit is about 11.5mm thick, roughly 30% slimmer than earlier versions, and carries a 5,000mAh battery. It is designed to attach magnetically to the back of supported iPhones, including the iPhone 17, 16, 15 and 14 series named in the listing.

Charging performance is modest rather than fast, but practical for travel and day-to-day use. Anker says the wireless output reaches 7.5W, while the USB-C port supports up to 12W in either direction. The company adds that the battery should provide around one full charge for iPhone 14, 13 and 12 series models, depending on usage and conditions.

Safety features include foreign-object detection and temperature control, which are standard but useful protections in a magnetic power bank. TechRadar’s review described the device as notably slim and easy to carry, while also pointing out that its 5,000mAh capacity is limited compared with larger banks. For buyers who prioritise portability and simple MagSafe-style charging, that trade-off is likely to matter more than maximum capacity.
