According to the company’s announcement on 19 August, the product is designed for everyday use at home, in cafés and in offices, with magnetic storage intended to keep the keyboard neatly secured when not in use. It also supports auto-sleep and Apple Pencil compatibility.
The format sits within a well-established category. Logitech’s Combo Touch and Folio Touch have shown how iPad accessories increasingly combine a keyboard, trackpad and stand into one folio-style product, while Apple’s own store highlights similar benefits: cursor control, multi-use viewing angles, shortcut keys and pencil storage. L&L’s new model follows that broader trend, but places greater emphasis on integrated storage for portability.
The Japanese product listing says the case includes a touchpad, allowing cursor-based navigation and item selection without direct screen input. That places it in the same functional class as Logitech and ZAGG’s integrated keyboard cases, which are built to support writing, browsing, reading and sketching with less reliance on touch gestures alone. For users handling long emails, documents or web work, that can make the iPad feel closer to a compact laptop.
L&L also says the keyboard has been tuned for longer typing sessions, with spacing intended to reduce mistakes and keys designed to offer enough resistance for sustained use. The case uses flexible TPU to protect the iPad and is meant to be easy to fit and remove. Two viewing angles are listed, at roughly 122 degrees and 144 degrees, covering media viewing and text entry. The product is being sold through Rakuten and Yahoo Shopping in Japan.
