The appeal of Roblox is that it can run on a wide range of devices, but that does not mean every cheap tablet delivers a pleasant experience. Tests on the VAIO TL10 and the Multilaser Ultra 10, both sold for under R$1,200, showed that while the game will launch and play, performance becomes uneven as scenes grow more complex.
The VAIO TL10 came out ahead of the two. VAIO says the tablet uses an octa-core processor, 8GB of RAM, a 10.4-inch 2K display and 128GB of storage, a specification set that is more capable than many entry-level rivals. In practical use, that extra headroom helps with everyday tasks and lighter games. In Roblox, simpler environments remained playable, but busier maps with more objects, visual effects and players on screen caused frame rates to drop and controls to feel less responsive.
The Multilaser Ultra 10 handled the game with less margin to spare. It could open Roblox and manage straightforward experiences, but performance worsened more quickly once the scene became detailed or the camera had to process more movement at once. When several players were present in the same area, stuttering became more obvious.
That behaviour is consistent with how Roblox works. The platform is not a single game but a collection of experiences, each with different demands on the processor, graphics hardware and memory. Roblox itself notes that low or inconsistent frame rates reduce smoothness and responsiveness, and that weaker mobile devices are more exposed to memory limits and thermal throttling during longer sessions. On that basis, the answer is yes, a cheap tablet can run Roblox, but only with clear compromises. For families looking for a more dependable result, spending more on a stronger tablet is the safer option.
