Anker’s Nano dock offers versatile, space-saving connectivity with new detachable hub

Anker’s new Nano Laptop Docking Station introduces a compact, modular solution supporting three external displays and high-speed connections, priced competitively after a recent price cut.

Anker’s Nano Laptop Docking Station is a compact answer for users who need more desktop connectivity without committing to a bulky dock. Android Authority reported that the 13-in-1 USB-C model combines a main docking unit with a detachable 6-in-1 hub, making it easier to split fixed desk use from portable access to key ports.

The hardware is built around broad display support. According to Anker, the dock can drive up to three external screens through two HDMI outputs and one DisplayPort connection, while also adding Ethernet and several high-speed USB data ports. Best Buy’s product listing shows the layout in more detail, including USB-C upstream, USB-C and USB-A data connections, an audio jack, and SD and TF card slots. The detachable hub is intended to keep frequently used connections within easy reach.

Power delivery is another important part of the package. Anker says the dock accepts up to 100W input and can pass about 85W to a connected laptop while still running attached peripherals. That makes it suitable for a single-cable workstation, although PCWorld’s review noted that charging performance was not especially impressive in practice, even if the modular design and compact form factor were well judged.

Price is also part of the appeal. Android Authority said Amazon had cut the dock to $111.99 from a recommended $149.99, leaving it close to its lowest recorded price. For buyers who want a space-saving dock with triple-display support and a removable front hub, that positions it as a practical, if not perfect, mid-range option.
