The device is positioned as a companion to the Infinix NOTE 60 Ultra and NOTE 60 Pro, but it is not a camera accessory. Unlike the Oppo Bubble-style product it resembles, the Genie Badge does not provide a live selfie preview. Instead, it is designed purely as a mini display for preloaded content.
According to Infinix, the badge uses a 1.85-inch circular HD touchscreen that can show still images, animated GIFs and video clips. Content is transferred from a smartphone through a companion app, with the company highlighting a Flash Sync function for quicker updates. In practice, that allows users to swap artwork, team identifiers, event graphics or other personalised visuals without needing to handle the badge directly.
The hardware is built around a magnetic mounting system, which means it can be clipped to clothing, attached to compatible metal surfaces or placed on a desk stand. Infinix says the 500mAh battery is rated for up to 10 hours of daily use and as much as 30 days on standby. The company is also pitching the accessory for events, networking and fan communities, where it can act as a digital pass or group identifier.
Pricing in Malaysia has been set at RM249, although introductory online vouchers bring the cost down to RM199 for early buyers. The discount is available through Infinix’s official stores on Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop, while physical Infinix Brand Stores are also carrying the device, subject to stock.
The launch follows an earlier showcase at AniManGaki 2026, where Infinix Malaysia previewed the Genie Badge alongside the NOTE 60 Series. That appearance suggests the company sees the accessory as part of a broader effort to extend its phone range into lifestyle products, especially for users who want technology that doubles as a personal display item rather than a conventional wearable.
