Samsung debuts Micro RGB and AI-enhanced premium TVs in Brazil with new features

Samsung has launched a new range of premium televisions in Brazil, featuring its innovative Micro RGB technology and enhanced AI functions, signalling a shift towards more immersive and intelligent home entertainment.

Samsung has launched a refreshed premium television range in Brazil under its Vision AI banner, led by the debut of Micro RGB and joined by new OLED, Neo QLED and The Frame Pro models. The line-up spans 48 to 85 inches and starts at R$4,749, with the most expensive set priced at R$42,499. According to Samsung’s Brazilian announcement, the range is now on sale and is designed to push more artificial intelligence-driven functions into picture, sound and daily use.

The standout model is the Micro RGB set, a technology Samsung says replaces conventional white backlighting with microscopic red, green and blue LEDs. In its global launch material, the company described Micro RGB as a large-screen, ultra-premium format with precise colour control and AI processing that adjusts picture and sound in real time. In Brazil, the technology arrives in the Vision AI Micro RGB R95H and R85H ranges, with the R95H sold in an 85-inch version and the R85H offered in 55, 65 and 75 inches. Samsung says the bigger model reaches 165 Hz and includes HDR10+ modes, Auto HDR Remastering Pro, 4.2.2-channel audio, 70 W of power and Dolby Atmos, while the R85H tops out at 144 Hz and uses a simpler two-channel, 30 W audio system.

Samsung has also updated its OLED and Neo QLED families. The OLED S95H comes in 65 inches with a 165 Hz panel, anti-reflective coating and support for AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-Sync. The OLED S90H is a 77-inch model with the same core gaming and anti-glare features, while the OLED S85H is offered in 48, 55 and 65 inches and supports 4K at 120 Hz. The Neo QLED QN70H uses Mini LED backlighting, AI image processing and a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz across 55, 65, 75 and 85-inch versions. The Frame Pro, meanwhile, is a 75-inch set with a matt finish and Samsung’s Wireless One Connect system.

The Vision AI package is central to the new range. Samsung says the Vision AI Companion combines Bixby and Google Gemini for voice interaction and content analysis, while its AI audio layer can isolate different elements in a soundtrack, such as crowd noise or commentary in a football match. The company also highlights AI-based image enhancement, Live Translate, AI-generated wallpapers, Football AI mode and a Pet Care mode that listens for animal sounds and can play calming content when owners are away.
