Samsung has announced the Galaxy S26 FE in India, priced close to US levels at ₹79,999, offering flagship specs, six years of updates, and new colour options, with sales beginning on 18 September.
Samsung has set the Indian price of the Galaxy S26 FE at ₹79,999 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage version, putting the phone close to the US price but still above a straight currency conversion. The device will go on sale in India on 18 September through Samsung’s online shop, major marketplaces and selected retail outlets. Samsung says buyers will be able to choose from Pistachio, Blueberry and Graphite.
The phone carries a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen with Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,900 nits. Samsung has paired that panel with its 3nm Exynos 2500 chip and a 4,900mAh battery, plus 45W wired charging and 15W wireless charging.
Photography is centred on a triple rear camera array: a 50-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilisation, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens and an 8-megapixel telephoto unit with 3x optical zoom and 30x combined zoom. The handset is IP68-rated for dust and water resistance, and runs One UI 9 based on Android 17.
Samsung also says the Galaxy S26 FE will receive seven generations of operating-system upgrades and seven years of security patches. SamMobile reported that launch offers in India include cashback, an upgrade bonus and EMI options, although only one promotion can be used per purchase.
