HP launches a exclusive Deep Espresso version of its OmniBook Ultra 14 in Malaysia, positioning it as a high-end AI laptop with luxury design, limited to 100 units and featuring premium specifications targeting power users.
HP has launched a limited-edition version of its OmniBook Ultra 14 in Malaysia, with the Deep Espresso finish sold exclusively through Harvey Norman and restricted to 100 units nationwide. According to launch details carried by local tech sites, the model is positioned as a premium AI laptop rather than a mainstream Copilot+ machine, with pricing starting at RM9,999 for the Core Ultra 7 configuration and rising to RM10,999 for the higher-memory variant.
The machine’s core appeal is its hardware rather than its branding. HP pairs a 14-inch 3K OLED multitouch panel, with a resolution of 2,880 x 1,800 and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, with Intel’s Core Ultra 7 356H and an Intel AI Boost NPU rated at up to 50 TOPS. That puts the device in the current class of Windows laptops built to run on-device AI workloads, while the 16GB model weighs about 1.27kg and is only 1.07cm thick.
Connectivity is unusually strong for such a slim chassis. HP includes three Thunderbolt 4 ports, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0 and a 5MP infrared webcam for Windows Hello and video calls. The Deep Espresso finish itself is the main limited-edition distinction, with bronze detailing setting it apart from the Silk Sand and Eclipse Gray versions that are also part of the OmniBook Ultra 14 range, including Core Ultra 9 configurations.
Harvey Norman’s launch offer runs until 31 October 2026, while stocks last. The retailer says eligible Core Ultra 9 buyers can receive a Harman Kardon Enchant 900 soundbar, while Core Ultra 7 purchases come with a choice of selected accessories, including Bose QuietComfort Ultra headphones, a Harman Kardon Aura Studio 5 speaker or a Garmin Forerunner watch, subject to availability and promotion terms. With the OmniBook Ultra 14 already competing in premium MacBook and flagship Windows territory, the limited Deep Espresso edition is likely to appeal most to buyers who value the design scarcity as much as the specifications.
