Coros has expanded its PACE line with the new PACE 4 Pro, featuring a 1.47-inch AMOLED display, longer battery life, and advanced training tools designed for serious endurance athletes seeking a lightweight yet high-performance sports watch.
COROS has expanded its PACE line with the PACE 4 Pro, a new GPS sports watch pitched at endurance athletes who want a larger display without giving up a slim, lightweight design. The company says the model is available now in black and white, with a price of $449.
The watch centres on a 1.47-inch AMOLED screen with a 466 x 466 resolution and a peak brightness of 3,500 nits, making it the largest display COROS has used to date. According to COROS, the body measures 11.8 mm thick and weighs 43 grams with the nylon band, while a sapphire glass touchscreen and titanium bezel are intended to improve durability during training and racing.
Battery life is another key selling point. COROS says the PACE 4 Pro can deliver up to 60 hours of GPS tracking, or 46 hours with always-on display enabled, and up to 21 days of daily use. That places it above the standard PACE 4, which the company says the Pro model complements by adding about 50 per cent more battery life and a 22.5 per cent larger screen.
COROS is also leaning more heavily into mapping and training tools. The company says the PACE 4 Pro has twice the RAM of the PACE 4 to improve responsiveness in navigation, including street and trail names, points of interest and turn-by-turn guidance. It also adds voice notes that sync with workout files, plus sensor data covering heart rate, altitude, temperature, blood oxygen and ECG. COROS says the watch also supports local MP3 playback and feeds into its wider training platform, with exports to services including Strava, Nike Run Club and TrainingPeaks.
