TCL unveils the VoxIN AI air conditioner in Brazil, featuring offline voice control, rapid cooling, and adaptive energy management, marking a significant step in connected home convenience and sustainability.
TCL has launched the VoxIN AI in Brazil, bringing an internet-independent voice-controlled air conditioner to a market where connected home appliances are increasingly competing on convenience as much as on efficiency. The 12,000 BTU/h model is now on sale with a suggested price of R$2,600, according to the company’s Brazilian announcement.
The main point of difference is offline voice control. TCL says users can change the temperature, switch operating modes and alter airflow simply by speaking to the unit, without relying on a live internet connection. The company says response time is around 0.8 seconds, while support for Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa remains available for broader smart-home integration.
Energy management is another core part of the product pitch. TCL says the VoxIN AI uses its T-AI system, which adapts compressor behaviour to usage patterns and room conditions in order to reduce power consumption. Across its global product pages, TCL says the feature can deliver up to 37% energy savings compared with models that do not use its AI energy-saving system, while the Brazilian material describes the figure as up to 38%.
The air conditioner is also built for faster thermal response and harsher climates. TCL says the unit can begin cooling in about 30 seconds and start heating in roughly 60 seconds. Its global specifications state that cooling performance is maintained at outdoor temperatures as high as 60°C, while heating remains possible down to -25°C.
TCL has also included a six-stage filtration system and six power levels, alongside Procel energy efficiency labelling in the Brazilian version. Users can monitor energy consumption through the TCL Home app. Taken together, the product is aimed at buyers looking for a split air conditioner that combines voice control, energy optimisation and basic indoor air management in a single unit.
