Vivo introduces the V80 Lite in the Philippines, boasting the world’s largest 10,000mAh BlueVolt battery, durability features, and targeted at young professionals seeking endurance and resilience in their mid-range phones.
vivo has introduced the V80 Lite in the Philippines, positioning the handset as a device for people who need unusually long battery life and stronger durability than a typical mid-range phone. The model’s headline feature is a 10,000mAh BlueVolt battery, which vivo says is its largest battery capacity globally, alongside IP68 and IP69 protection against dust and water and a 1.5K OLED screen.
The launch follows a wider regional push for the V80 Lite family. In Malaysia, vivo has already promoted a 5G version with the same 10,000mAh battery concept, while local reports in the Philippines say the new model is being sold in the market as a practical option for long workdays, commuting and other all-day use. The Philippine version is also said to target younger professionals who want a phone that can handle both endurance and rougher everyday conditions.
In the Philippines, the V80 Lite is priced at PHP 24,999 for the 8GB+128GB model and PHP 27,999 for the 8GB+256GB version. Pre-orders run from October 4 to 16, 2026, through vivo stores, the company’s online shop and the vivo Store app. Buyers who reserve the phone during the promotion period are being offered a limited-edition pair of vivo Buds Air3 earbuds, a PHP 1,000 discount, six months of 100GB Google One storage, and a four-year battery warranty.
vivo is also offering an additional PHP 500 discount through Home Credit at 0% interest until October 31, 2026, using the voucher code HCV80LITE. According to local coverage, the handset is available in several colour options and is paired in some markets with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300e chip, a 6.83-inch AMOLED-class display and a 120Hz refresh rate, although the Philippine launch materials focus mainly on the battery, display protection and bundled offers.
