INIU adds clamp security to Qi2 magnetic car charging

The $29.99 SnapGo V11 combines 15W Qi2 charging with side clamps designed to keep phones secure on rough roads, while a 3-in-1 version adds flexible mounting options.

INIU has put a more security-focused spin on in-car magnetic charging with its SnapGo V11 Qi2 Magnetic Wireless Car Charger, adding side clamps to reinforce the usual magnet-and-pad arrangement. The idea is straightforward: the magnet helps align the phone for charging, while the clamps add a physical restraint for potholes, sharp braking and uneven surfaces. At $29.99, it is positioned as a budget-friendly option for drivers who want a little more reassurance than a magnetic holder alone can provide.

The charger supports Qi2 wireless output of up to 15W and is listed as compatible with iPhone 12 through iPhone 17 models, with INIU recommending a MagSafe or Qi2 case for the best hold. The company includes a 4.9-foot USB-C to USB-C cable, but no car power adapter, so buyers will need to supply their own. INIU says the mount offers 5W, 7.5W and 15W output modes, with 15W as the maximum, which places it in line with other Qi2 accessories that prioritise efficient magnetic alignment and faster wireless charging.

A separate review of the SnapGo V11 by Car Elite AI Finds described the charger as delivering solid charging performance and a secure grip, including on rough roads, though it noted that it may only maintain battery levels rather than fully replenish a phone during long navigation sessions. INIU itself says the unit uses a five-fin cooling fan to manage heat during charging, a useful addition because wireless charging and turn-by-turn navigation can quickly warm a handset in a parked car or under direct sun.

INIU is also offering a broader 3-in-1 Magnetic Wireless Car Charger with the same Qi2 focus, but with more installation flexibility. That model includes both an air-vent clip and a suction-cup mount, plus a 360-degree ball joint and a 180-degree adjustable arm for positioning. According to the company, the clamp system remains part of the appeal, especially for drivers who regularly encounter speed bumps, sudden stops or roads that shake cheaper mounts loose. The package also includes seven RGB lighting colours and a memory function, although those are secondary to the more practical questions of fit, stability and viewing angle.

For buyers, the main decision is whether the extra physical support is worth having alongside magnetic attachment and wireless charging. INIU’s approach will suit motorists who want a mount that can double as a navigation stand and stay put on poorer roads, while still charging at up to 15W. Drivers who prefer the simplest possible one-hand dock may still favour a plain magnetic holder, but for those who want Qi2 charging, clamp support and multiple mounting options in one unit, INIU has made a clear case for the extra hardware.
