Logitech’s Pebble Up mouse folds flat for travel, then rises for desk comfort

The compact rechargeable mouse switches between a slim travel shape and a raised grip, with Bluetooth, Logi Bolt and support for three devices.

Logitech has introduced the Pebble Up, a compact wireless mouse that can change shape between a flat travel form and a tilted desktop stance. According to the company’s Chinese product listing, the device is aimed at people who move between laptops, desks and commuting bags, with the raised configuration pitched as a comfort mode and the flatter one intended for portability.

The Pebble Up’s most distinctive feature is its adjustable upper shell. In one position, it sits low and slim for easier packing; in the other, the top section lifts and angles to the right to alter the hand position. Logitech says the mouse measures 105.8mm by 59.6mm by 30mm and weighs about 79g, putting it firmly in the lightweight, portable category rather than the fuller-bodied ergonomic class.

Hardware specifications are broadly consistent across the various launch reports. Notebookcheck, Gizmochina and other outlets say the mouse uses an optical sensor rated at up to 4,200 CPI, with adjustable sensitivity from 400 to 4,000 DPI depending on the software settings exposed to the user. It has four main controls, including a clickable scroll wheel and a dedicated DPI button, and it also includes an additional host button and a power switch. Logitech says the controls can be customised through Logi Options+ on supported Windows and macOS systems.

Connectivity is another central selling point. The Pebble Up supports Bluetooth Low Energy and Logitech’s Logi Bolt wireless system, and can be paired with up to three devices through Easy-Switch. Logitech says the mouse works with Windows, macOS, ChromeOS, Linux, Android and iPadOS, although some software features are limited by platform. That makes it more practical for mixed-device users than for buyers who want a simple single-computer accessory.

Power comes from a built-in 290mAh rechargeable lithium-polymer battery, replacing the disposable cells used in some older Pebble models. Logitech claims up to 90 days of battery life, though actual endurance will depend on usage and connection conditions. The move to a rechargeable design should reduce waste and remove the need to keep spare batteries on hand, while also fitting the mouse’s more modern, travel-friendly brief.

The design remains understated, in line with Logitech’s Pebble range. It is being offered in Pearl White, Graphite Gray and Rose Pink, and the company says the shell uses certified post-consumer recycled plastic, with recycled content figures of 43% for the Pearl White and Rose Pink versions and 56% for Graphite Gray. For now, the Pebble Up is listed in China at 250 yuan, or roughly $37, with Lenovo named as a retail source; wider international availability, including any US launch, has yet to be confirmed.
