Fire-Boltt is moving beyond smartwatches with its first smartphones, the Boltt Ace 5G and Boltt Evo 4G, both due to launch in India on August 25. Flipkart has already gone live with teaser pages for the devices, offering the first official images but little else in the way of confirmed specifications.
The Ace 5G appears to be the higher-end model, with Fire-Boltt showing off a triple rear camera array and a body said to measure 9.49mm thick. The design suggests a slim, modern handset aimed at buyers looking for a more polished entry-level 5G option. The Evo 4G, meanwhile, is being positioned as the lower-cost choice, with Fire-Boltt highlighting a flat-edged frame and a display built for everyday use.
Some details have already emerged through leaks and benchmark listings. Gadgets 360 reported that the Boltt Evo 4G was spotted on Geekbench with a Unisoc T7250 chip, 4GB of RAM and Android 16, along with scores of 440 in single-core testing and 1,470 in multi-core tests. The phone is expected to sit in the budget segment and be sold through Flipkart.
Fire-Boltt’s push into smartphones marks a notable shift for a brand that made its name in affordable wearables. The company has built a strong presence in India’s value-conscious smartwatch market, but smartphones demand a far broader commitment, from software support and battery life to camera quality and after-sales service. According to reports from Mobigyaan and Gizmochina, Fire-Boltt is using a new smartphone-focused sub-brand, Boltt, to target affordable 4G and 5G buyers in India, with Made-in-India positioning central to the launch.
