TCL’s K70 Power 4G breaks into Philippines market with emphasis on battery and smooth display

TCL launches the affordable K70 Power 4G in the Philippines, highlighting a large battery, 120Hz display, and flexible storage options, targeting budget-conscious consumers seeking reliable daily performance.

TCL has brought the K70 Power 4G to the Philippines as a low-cost handset built around battery life, a 120Hz screen and modest everyday performance. The launch positions it below the better-specified K70 Power model seen elsewhere, with local reporting indicating a Philippine introductory price of ₱9,495 for the 4GB-plus-128GB variant.

The phone uses a 6.75-inch LCD panel with HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, which should make scrolling and basic navigation feel smoother than on typical entry-level devices. Teknogadyet says the handset is 8.3mm thick and weighs 190g, while TCL is offering it in Nebula Blue. The company also claims TÜV-certified fluency optimisation designed to keep the software responsive over 48 months.

Inside, the K70 Power 4G is powered by MediaTek’s Helio G100 Ultra built on a 6nm process, paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Expansion is a key selling point: the phone supports microSD cards up to 2TB and includes virtual RAM expansion, which TCL says can add up to 8GB more memory in software. The camera setup consists of a 50MP main rear camera with macro support and an 8MP front camera, alongside dual speakers.

Battery capacity is another point of difference. Teknogadyet lists a 5,200mAh battery with 18W charging, whereas coverage of TCL’s broader K70 series has described the K70 Power as a larger-battery model with a 6,500mAh cell and 33W charging. The discrepancy suggests TCL may be using different regional configurations or naming conventions, but the Philippine launch documentation highlighted the 5,200mAh specification for this market. Android 16 comes pre-installed.
