A new PDF editor, PDNob Pro, combines AI-driven summarisation and translation with comprehensive document management, but potential buyers should note inconsistent pricing details across sources.
PDNob Pro PDF Editor is being pitched as a way to turn PDFs from static files into searchable, editable documents, with built-in AI that can summarise text, translate passages, answer questions and pull out key details. Boing Boing says the lifetime deal is being sold for $49.99, down from a listed regular price of $349.95, while PCWorld Shop describes the same promotion in similar terms.
Beyond the AI layer, the software is designed to cover routine document work in one package. According to PDNob’s own product pages, it supports OCR, or optical character recognition, to turn scanned pages and images into editable text, and it can handle editing and conversion across formats including PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and images while preserving layout as far as possible. It also includes tools for merging, splitting, rearranging, compressing, annotating, redacting and digitally signing files.
The company says the editor works on Windows, Mac and iPhone, which may matter for people moving between desktop and mobile workflows. PDNob also says the licence covers two users with simultaneous use on up to two devices, and includes 20GB of cloud storage plus 6,000 AI credits.
There is, however, a pricing wrinkle. PDNob’s official site lists its lifetime licence at $64.99 and its one-year licence at $49.99, which differs from the lifetime pricing highlighted by Boing Boing and PCWorld Shop. For buyers, that means the exact terms of the offer should be checked carefully before purchase.
