Smart is bundling Huawei’s new Pura 90s Pro and Pura 90s Pro Max with its latest postpaid offers in the Philippines, giving buyers a route to either outright purchase or long-term instalment plans. Under Smart’s All-New Postpaid Plans+ 999, the Pura 90s Pro is priced at PHP 34,700 for straight payment or PHP 1,629 a month over 24 months through participating credit cards, while the Pura 90s Pro Max costs PHP 58,800 upfront or PHP 2,758 a month on the same terms. The phones are also being offered through Smart Infinity plans, alongside a prepaid bundle for customers who want more flexibility.
The timing follows Huawei’s wider rollout of the Pura 90s Pro and Pro Max across global markets. According to Gizmochina, the company launched both models internationally in July with the Kirin 9030S chipset and availability in Malaysia, where the Pro Max was listed at MYR 4,900 for the 12GB/512GB version. Huawei’s regional push suggests the Philippines launch is part of a broader market expansion rather than a standalone release.
On paper, the Pura 90s Pro Max is the more ambitious of the two. Reports from FoneArena, Gadgets 360 and other product round-ups say it uses a 6.9-inch LTPO OLED display with Kunlun Glass protection, a 6,000mAh battery, 100W wired charging and 80W wireless charging. Huawei also highlights a 200-megapixel RYYB telephoto camera with 4x optical zoom and macro support, plus a 50-megapixel main camera and a 40-megapixel ultra-wide lens. The Pro model is smaller at 6.6 inches but shares the same chipset, battery class and premium software package.
Smart is also tying the phones to its Infinity programme, which includes unlimited data, calls and texts, roaming-ready connectivity and premium customer services such as concierge support and lounge access. For pre-orders, the carrier is adding extras including a Huawei Watch Fit Pro, a Pura 90s gift box, FreeArc Buds on some offers and Huawei Care+ coverage. The approach places the devices in the premium tier of the Philippine market, where carrier subsidies and bundled privileges often matter as much as raw hardware specifications.
