The company said the product went on sale on August 9 and is aimed at reducing the need to open a smartphone app or inspect the earbuds themselves just to see battery or playback status.
The most distinctive feature is the colour LCD display built into the case. According to the company’s announcement, it shows the left and right battery levels as well as the charge remaining in the case. It also supports custom wallpaper and display changes, while a 12-in-1 touch screen brings together functions including volume control, camera control, language switching, wallpaper selection, brightness adjustment and a find-my-earbuds tool.
Beyond the screen, the LL05 uses Bluetooth 6.0 and supports AAC audio coding, which the company says is intended to deliver stable wireless transmission and balanced sound. It also includes active noise cancellation for reducing surrounding noise and ENC, or environmental noise cancellation, for clearer voice calls. The earbuds have a built-in microphone for hands-free calls.
L&Lライブリーライフ says the earbuds can deliver up to about 36 hours of use when combined with the charging case. The package includes three ear tip sizes, S, M and L, to improve fit across different ear shapes and to reduce sound leakage. The launch follows a series of recent product updates from the company, including other Bluetooth 6.0 earphones with display-equipped cases, suggesting it is continuing to build around the same core idea of putting more controls and status information directly on the charging case.
