boAt has unveiled the CineHead F1 Pro in India, its first projector featuring Google TV, 4K support, and smart features, signalling a strategic move into premium home entertainment products.
boAt has launched the CineHead F1 Pro in India, opening a new projector line that the company says is its first to use Google TV. The device arrives with native 1,080p projection, support for up to 4K input and a claimed image size of up to 120 inches. Gadgets 360 reported that a standard CineHead F1 model will follow later this month.
The CineHead F1 Pro is priced at Rs. 32,999 as an introductory offer and is already being sold through boAt’s own online store, Amazon and Flipkart. According to the company, the later F1 model will have its pricing and sale details announced nearer launch.
The projector runs Google TV 5.0, which boAt says brings access to more than 10,000 apps through Google Play, content recommendations, multiple user profiles and a children’s mode. It also includes Google Assistant, a voice-enabled remote and dedicated shortcuts for Netflix and YouTube. Google TV support also enables wireless screen mirroring.
On the hardware side, the CineHead F1 Pro includes autofocus, auto keystone correction and obstacle avoidance, all designed to reduce manual setup. It also comes with an adjustable stand and connectivity options including dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, HDMI, USB, a 3.5mm audio jack and HDMI ARC and eARC. boAt says the projector uses an unspecified MediaTek chip with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, and it adds Dolby Audio.
The launch extends boAt’s push into home entertainment. Recent reports on the company’s CineHead M1 and E1 projectors showed a broader strategy built around compact smart projectors with built-in apps, wireless casting and relatively low pricing. Those models are positioned far below the F1 Pro in cost, suggesting boAt is now targeting both entry-level buyers and users willing to pay more for Google TV and higher-end projection features.
