Boulanger is offering the Bose QuietComfort Ultra at €209.99 after a free loyalty-club discount, a sharp fall from its launch positioning near the premium end of the market. The deal arrives at a time when Bose is still leaning on the model’s core strengths: strong noise cancellation, long battery life and a design built for extended wear. Bose’s own current product pages for the second-generation QuietComfort Ultra headphones describe up to 30 hours of listening with active noise cancellation switched on, plus a 15-minute quick charge that adds 3 hours of playback.
The appeal of the QuietComfort Ultra has always rested as much on comfort as on engineering. Bose describes the latest version as using a padded headband and polished metal yokes, while reviews from Tom’s Guide and PCWorld have both singled out the model’s plush fit and class-leading noise suppression. For commuters, open-plan offices and frequent flyers, that combination remains the headline feature, even as newer rivals continue to arrive.
Bose also continues to add listening modes that widen the headphones’ use beyond basic music playback. The company now highlights Cinema and Immersive Audio modes, alongside USB-C wired lossless audio support on the current generation.
