Salesforce unveils AgentExchange marketplace to streamline CRM integrations for small businesses

Salesforce introduces AgentExchange, a new marketplace that simplifies CRM system integrations for small firms by enabling quick, secure, and AI-powered connectivity across popular business tools.

Salesforce is positioning CRM integrations as a practical way for small businesses to reduce manual work and keep customer data flowing across the tools they already use. The company says its connectors link the CRM to systems such as email, accounting, ecommerce, marketing and service software, cutting down on copy-and-paste work and helping teams stay aligned on live information.

The pitch now goes beyond simple app links. In March 2025, Salesforce announced AgentExchange, a marketplace for Agentforce that brings together partner apps, actions, templates and Slack-related tools in one place. According to Salesforce, the platform is designed to help customers discover and activate prebuilt AI components more quickly, with support from more than 200 partners including Google Cloud, DocuSign and Box.

Salesforce says the attraction for smaller firms is speed and simplicity. Many of the integrations are described as plug-and-play, which means businesses can connect existing systems without a developer or a long implementation cycle. That matters for lean teams that need immediate benefits from a CRM, including better data accuracy, less duplication and faster hand-offs between sales, marketing and support.

The company also argues that AgentExchange extends the value of those integrations by letting AI agents work across systems more securely. Salesforce says the marketplace supports open standards such as MCP and A2A, allowing agents to access and share data across tools without custom builds for every new platform. In its own examples, the company points to sales automation, service escalation, marketing segmentation, commerce workflows and Slack-based productivity tools as areas where small businesses can consolidate work and act faster on customer signals.
