Anker’s compact Nano travel adapter is now available at a record low price of $20 on Amazon, offering versatile charging for over 200 countries with up to five devices simultaneously.
Anker’s Nano travel adapter is being discounted on Amazon, where the price has fallen to $20 from $26, a 23% reduction that matches its lowest recorded price, according to CNET’s deal coverage. The offer currently applies only to the black version, and there is no stated end date for the promotion.
The adapter is built for international use, with support for Type A, C, G and I sockets, which covers more than 200 countries. It also combines two USB-A ports, two USB-C ports and one AC socket, allowing up to five devices to charge at once, a useful setup for airports, hostels and other places where power points are limited.
Its main selling point is size. At less than an inch thick, the unit is designed to slip into crowded spaces and avoid blocking neighbouring sockets. Anker says one USB-C port can deliver 20-watt charging, and CNET notes that is enough to take a phone to 50% in under 30 minutes.
There are limits. The 20-watt ceiling is fine for phones and smaller accessories, but not for laptops or other power-hungry devices. PCWorld notes that the similar-looking five-port model can be found for about $19.99, while CNET points to a bulkier Baseus alternative that supports 70-watt charging for $38, which may suit travellers who need more headroom. Pack Hacker also says the design is highly portable, but flags the lack of a ground prong and a bright LED that could be distracting in dark rooms.
