Google boosts storage and expands Pixel line-up with new Pixel Watch 5 and Pixel Tag in Malaysia

Google has unveiled its 2026 Made by Google hardware, led by the Pixel 11 range and a new Pixel Watch 5, with Malaysia among the first markets to receive pricing and release details. According to SoyaCincau, the new line-up includes the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold, all of which are built around Google’s Tensor G6 chip and now start at 256GB of storage rather than 128GB.

In Malaysia, the Pixel 11 is priced from RM3,999, the Pixel 11 Pro from RM4,999, the Pixel 11 Pro XL from RM5,999 and the Pixel 11 Pro Fold from RM7,999. SoyaCincau said those entry prices are broadly unchanged from the previous generation, but the storage uplift gives buyers more capacity at the same starting point. Pre-orders open on August 12, with retail availability set for August 20 through Urban Republic, Senheng, Thundermatch and Shopee, as well as on contract through CelcomDigi, Maxis and U Mobile.

The Pixel Watch 5 is a more modest update, with Google placing greater emphasis on Gemini Intelligence rather than a major redesign. In Malaysia, the 41mm model starts at RM1,799 and the 45mm version at RM1,999, with the same August 20 availability date and the same retail and carrier partners. Tom’s Guide noted ahead of the launch that the watch was expected to bring incremental gains in RAM, storage and health features while keeping a familiar design.

Google also used the event to tease a new Pixel Tag, its answer to Apple’s AirTag. The device is designed to work with Android’s Find Hub network so users can track belongings, although Malaysian pricing has not yet been confirmed. SoyaCincau said it is expected to arrive in the country in November.
