The new A900 lineup from 70mai introduces two dual-channel 4K dash cams featuring advanced sensors, GPS, Wi-Fi 6, and enhanced low-light technology, targeting drivers seeking comprehensive front-and-rear surveillance.
70mai has expanded its dash cam line-up with the A900 series, a global launch that adds two dual-channel 4K models aimed at drivers who want front-and-rear recording in a single unit. According to Notebookcheck, the range consists of the A900 and A900 Ultra, both of which combine an integrated display, GPS, ADAS and Wi-Fi 6 for faster wireless transfers.
The two versions are closely aligned on core features, but they differ in imaging hardware. Notebookcheck says the standard A900 uses two GC8613 sensors, while the A900 Ultra switches to a pair of Sony IMX678 sensors based on Starvis 2 technology. 70mai’s own product page also positions the A900 as a dual 4K HDR recorder with a wide f/1.55 aperture, Night Owl Vision low-light processing, and support for up to 512GB of storage.
Both models record at up to 4K at 30 frames per second and include HDR, buffered emergency recording and 24-hour parking surveillance. 70mai says the devices also offer ADAS alerts, supercapacitor backup for heat resistance, voice control and a compact body designed to sit discreetly behind the rear-view mirror. Notebookcheck adds that the series includes a larger 3.18-inch display on the A900 and a 3-inch preview screen on the A900 Ultra, alongside app-based playback and downloads.
Pricing and availability differ by model. Notebookcheck reports that the A900 Ultra is priced at €213 and is available to pre-order, with shipments due to begin on 1 November, while the A900 costs €199 and is already on sale through Amazon. That places the series in a competitive part of the dash cam market, where buyers increasingly weigh image sensor quality, parking monitoring and transfer speed as heavily as recording resolution.
