Advancing affordable education with the introduction of the V11 budget tablet in Indonesia

AdvAN Indonesia has launched the V11, a budget-friendly tablet designed for students, featuring a large display, AI support, and bundled internet benefits to enhance digital learning in Indonesia.

ADVAN Indonesia has introduced the V11, a budget tablet aimed at students and everyday learning use, as the company looks to pair a larger screen, keyboard accessory and artificial intelligence tools in one package. Chief executive Chandra Tansri said in a statement on Monday that the device is intended to support productivity and connectivity for younger users preparing for a digital future.

The V11 centres on an 11-inch FHD+ IPS display, which ADVAN says is suited to reading e-books, completing assignments and watching educational content. The tablet also ships with a responsive docking keyboard and touchpad, a combination meant to make basic document work and presentations feel closer to a laptop than a typical tablet. In practice, that places it in a crowded low-cost category where display size, typing comfort and battery life often matter more than premium design features.

On the hardware side, ADVAN says the V11 comes with 6GB of RAM, which can be expanded to 12GB through extended RAM, and 128GB of internal storage. It also includes Gemini AI support, reflecting the growing push among device makers to add on-device or cloud-linked AI functions to entry-level hardware. That positioning comes as other manufacturers have been refreshing the budget tablet market with larger displays and mid-range components; Acer, for example, recently unveiled its Iconia V11 and V12 tablets with 2K screens, MediaTek Helio G99 processors and Android 15.

ADVAN is also bundling the tablet with IM3, the consumer brand of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, in a package it says carries more than Rp 1 million in combined benefits. Marketing manager Melly Karmelia said the deal is designed to make internet access easier for online classes, digital learning and education platforms. The V11 will be sold exclusively on Shopee from August 8, 2026, with a launch price of Rp 2,499,000, alongside promotional vouchers for early buyers. The move follows a long pattern of ADVAN and IM3 promotions, including earlier smartphone bundles that paired low-cost devices with internet offers.
