Asus has refreshed its Vivobook line in Indonesia with the S14 model, featuring a slim chassis, extended battery life over 20 hours, and a focus on mobility and productivity for creators and workers on the go.
ASUS has refreshed its thin-and-light Vivobook line in Indonesia with the Vivobook S14 (S5452MA), a 14-inch laptop that combines a metal chassis, a low starting weight of 1.2kg and battery claims that extend beyond 20 hours. The device is pitched at mobile workers and creators who want a compact machine without giving up mainstream productivity features, and it is now on sale for Rp19,299,000 through ASUS Exclusive Stores and partner retailers.
The laptop uses a 14-inch WUXGA IPS-class display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, 300 nits of brightness and 100% sRGB coverage, according to ASUS regional specifications. That combination gives it a taller workspace than a standard 16:9 panel, which is useful for documents, spreadsheets and web-based work. ASUS also says the panel is rated at 60Hz and is built with flicker-free and low-blue-light features, while the hinge can open flat to 180 degrees for easier sharing.
Inside, the Indonesia configuration pairs an Intel Core 7 Processor 350 with 16GB of LPDDR5X memory and a 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD. ASUS says the machine also includes a dedicated NPU for on-device AI tasks and supports a performance mode with a total power limit of up to 30W. In practical terms, that should help with everyday multitasking, quicker app launches and light AI-assisted workloads, although the exact real-world experience will still depend on how heavily the laptop is pushed.
Connectivity is straightforward but well covered for an ultraportable, with two USB-C ports, two USB-A ports, HDMI 2.1 and a combo audio jack. The USB-C ports can also be used for charging, including with a universal charger or power bank, which is a useful convenience for travel. ASUS says the battery can be charged to 60% in 49 minutes, and the chassis has also been tested to MIL-STD 810H durability standards. The laptop is available in Matte Gray and Cool Silver, reinforcing its positioning as a practical rather than flashy premium thin-and-light model.
