ASUS’s Vivobook Go 15 is being sold on Amazon Japan for ¥98,800, according to ASCII.jp, which noted that the listing did not carry a visible sale label even though the same model was priced at ¥139,800 in early July. The apparent gap has made the Amazon-exclusive configuration stand out as a lower-cost way to get a larger-screen laptop with upgraded memory and storage.
The model, E1504FA-R5165BLAM, differs from the standard version by carrying 16GB of memory instead of 8GB. It uses an AMD Ryzen 5 processor and includes a 512GB SSD, a combination that should suit everyday work, web browsing and multitasking more comfortably than entry-level systems with smaller memory allocations. ASUS Japan’s own product material for the Vivobook Go 15 line also lists Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, a privacy shutter for the webcam and AI noise cancellation, reinforcing that this is aimed at practical home or study use rather than premium features.
