Honor launches the Watch 6 in Malaysia, featuring over 120 workout modes including professional-style badminton and football tools, alongside long battery life and health tracking capabilities.
HONOR has begun selling the Watch 6 in Malaysia, positioning the smartwatch around sports tracking, long battery life and a set of sport-specific tools aimed at badminton and football players. The device carries more than 120 workout modes and, according to HONOR, both the Professional Badminton Mode and Professional Football Mode work without extra app downloads or subscription charges.
The sports features go beyond basic activity logging. HONOR says the badminton mode measures swing speed, striking power, shot frequency and the longest run of consecutive hits, while also separating shot types such as smashes and clears and comparing forehand with backhand and overhand with underhand play. The football mode is designed for post-match review, producing heat maps and movement-path data to show how a player moved during a game. HONOR’s own materials for the Watch 6 also highlight trail running, running posture analysis, lactate-threshold heart-rate monitoring and dual-band GPS through its AccuTrack system.
Outside training, the watch includes continuous heart-rate, blood oxygen and sleep tracking through what HONOR calls its Intelligent Sense System. Other functions include dual-phone notifications, wrist-gesture controls, AI-generated voice notes that sync to HONOR Notes and NFC Smart Access for opening compatible doors or facilities. HONOR also lists NFC payments on some market materials, along with stress, sleep-quality and body-energy monitoring.
The Watch 6 uses a 1.46-inch round AMOLED panel with a peak brightness of 3,000 nits and a 980mAh battery rated by HONOR for up to 35 days of use, or up to 42 hours with GPS turned on. The 46.5mm model comes in Shadow Black, with a recyclable aluminium alloy case and a 41g weight without straps, and Twilight Brown, with a stainless-steel body and a 50g weight. Both versions carry IP69 dust and water resistance and 5ATM water resistance. In Malaysia, the Shadow Black model with a fluoroelastomer strap costs RM699, while the Twilight Brown version with a leather strap is priced at RM799. It is sold through HONOR Experience Stores, the company’s online store and its official shops on Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop.
