Honor unveils the X9e Pro in Malaysia, a mid-range device boasting a massive 11,000mAh battery, water and dust resistance, and built-in repair-friendly features, targeting users prioritising endurance over flagship camera skills.
HONOR has launched the X9e Pro in Malaysia, pitching it as a mid-range phone built around endurance, repair-minded protection and unusually aggressive battery capacity. The model starts from RM1,799 under an introductory pre-order offer and is aimed at buyers who value long battery life, resilience against water and dust, and a bright display rather than flagship-class camera breadth or premium materials.
At the centre of the device is an 11,000mAh battery, a figure that places it well beyond most mainstream smartphones. HONOR says the cell uses silicon-carbon anode technology and is designed for long-term reliability, with a quoted six-year health expectancy. The company also pairs the battery with 80W wired HONOR SuperCharge and 27W reverse charging, allowing the handset to recharge other devices as well. HONOR’s own claims also point to marathon usage figures, including more than 164 hours of music streaming and over 66 hours of regular video playback.
The rest of the specification list follows the same practical theme. The X9e Pro uses a Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset and a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 10,000 nits. HONOR also highlights a 108-megapixel main camera with CIPA 6.0 optical image stabilisation, while the phone’s durability credentials include IP69K water and dust resistance and drop protection claimed to reach up to 3 metres.
In Malaysia, HONOR is supporting the launch with a pre-order period running from 24 September to 8 October. Buyers who order during that window get an immediate RM100 rebate, taking the 256GB model to RM1,799 and the 512GB version to RM2,299. The bundle also includes a HONOR Pad X7 tablet and HONOR Rakyat Care+, which covers front and back crack protection, liquid damage protection and a one-year extended warranty. According to HONOR’s promotion, the package is intended to underline the phone’s emphasis on durability as much as performance.
