Huawei launches rugged Watch GT 7 Pro and stylish GT 7 with extended battery life in Russia

Huawei has introduced its latest smartwatch models, the Watch GT 7 and Watch GT 7 Pro, in Russia, emphasising outdoor sport features, robust durability, and impressive battery longevity amidst a global rollout.

Huawei has begun selling the Watch GT 7 and Watch GT 7 Pro in Russia, adding two new models to its smartwatch line-up with a stronger focus on outdoor sport tracking and long battery life. The launch follows Huawei’s wider global rollout of the series earlier in September, with the Russian release presented as part of the same product family.

The Watch GT 7 Pro uses a titanium case with a ceramic bezel, while the standard Watch GT 7 is built from stainless steel and comes in 41mm and 46mm sizes. Huawei has equipped both ranges with AMOLED displays, with peak brightness rated at up to 3,000 nits. The smaller model has a 1.32-inch screen, while the larger versions use a 1.47-inch panel.

Durability is a clear part of the pitch. Both models are rated 5 ATM and IP69, which means they are intended to withstand water exposure and dust, while the Pro version also supports freediving to depths of 40 metres. Huawei is also pushing sport-specific software, including automatic detection for skiing and snowboarding, route and speed tracking, access to more than 3,000 ski maps in Huawei Health, and group-riding tools that show the position of other participants.

For cyclists, the watches can display climb data and warn about sharp bends, after which the system analyses the ride and suggests adjustments. Health functions cover sleep, stress, heart rate and possible rhythm irregularities, while the Pro model adds ECG support. Huawei says the 46mm Pro and GT 7 can last up to 21 days on minimal use and up to 12 days in normal use, while the 41mm version is rated at up to 14 days and 7 days respectively.

In Russia, Huawei is pricing the Pro model at 28,999 roubles during the launch offer, with the standard GT 7 starting at 22,999 roubles and rising to 24,999 roubles depending on configuration. The promotion runs from 8 September to 9 October 2026 and includes discounts as well as three months of access to a Huawei Health service and the watch face store. Retail availability includes DNS, M.Video, MTS, restore:, Ozon, Wildberries, Yandex Market, Technopark, Beeline and Huawei’s own online shop.
