iQOO is set to launch two new smartphones in China on August 18, targeting performance enthusiasts with the Neo 11 Ultra and endurance seekers with the Z11S, both featuring substantial batteries and upgraded displays.
iQOO is preparing to widen its smartphone line-up in China on August 18 with two devices that sit at different ends of the same strategy: the Neo 11 Ultra for performance users and the Z11S for buyers who prioritise battery endurance and screen comfort. The company has already disclosed much of the industrial design and a selection of core specifications ahead of the launch, reducing the number of surprises left for the event itself.
The Neo 11 Ultra is the more striking of the pair. iQOO says it will use a 6.83-inch flat 2K display and a 9,100mAh battery, which would be a first for the Neo series. The company is also promoting the handset’s eye comfort, durability and network stability. It has not confirmed every detail, but the phone is expected to support 100W wired charging and may include a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and IP68 and IP69 protection. Design images show a horizontal dual-camera layout, with the flash separated to the right, and colour options listed as Light White, Shadow Black and Wind Chaser.
Internally, the Neo 11 Ultra is tipped to run a customised version of MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chip, paired with an 11-core Mali G1-Ultra graphics processor, according to the leaked specifications circulated ahead of launch. Memory configurations are expected to range from 12GB of RAM with 256GB of storage to 16GB with 512GB. That positioning suggests iQOO is aiming squarely at users who want flagship-class processing power alongside an unusually large battery.
The Z11S follows a different formula. iQOO says it will ship with a 10,000mAh battery, making it the company’s first model to cross that threshold, and a 144Hz display with eye-care features. The screen is said to measure 6.83 inches and to use full-brightness DC-like dimming and 2,160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, with SGS certification for low blue light and low flicker. The rear camera arrangement is vertical inside a rectangular module, and the colour choices are White, Black and Pale Green. Unconfirmed regulatory listings have linked the handset to a model number seen on Geekbench with a Dimensity 7500 processor, 12GB of RAM, Android 16 and a 44W charger, although iQOO has yet to verify those details. For context, iQOO’s existing Z11 is already a large-battery device, with a 6.83-inch AMOLED panel, a 144Hz refresh rate and a 9,020mAh battery, so the new China-bound variant appears to push endurance even further.
